Little About Me, Barbara
Well,
I have a great sense of humor, if you don’t want to have fun, you may just
have the wrong girl. Maybe girl is too strong a word; I’m 54 years old,
all though nearly everyone thinks I’m younger. I have 25 plus years in the
customer service field. I love people! I look at this profession in a little different
light than some, buying and selling your home is one of the most important decisions
a person makes in their life, but it needs to be one of the most enjoyable times
you’ll have. I want to help make it an event you’ll remember fondly.
I live in Nixa, Missouri with my husband, Scott, daughter Jillian, she’s
the baby (only 18 ), one of those “what the heck was I thinking” ten
years later kids, but we love her anyway, she adds excitement to our life she.
My adopted daughters Petie and Fresia (they’re really dogs, but we are afraid
to tell them…maybe when they get a little older) and two, make that three,
(Jill brought another one home this week) cats, Groucho, Macey, and Mitzy. I’m
a native Missourian, been in Nixa area since 1979, does that make me a Nixonite?
I
have two adult children Tyler, his wife Elisa and my beautiful new grandson Landon
who live here in Springfield. Ty’s the only one in our family, who is quiet,
I’m not really sure if he’s mine? And last, but certainly not least
Tara, her husband Kevin and my precious granddaughter Wrena. Tara is the genius
who helped put this site together for us…I’m computer illiterate.
They are stationed in Savannah Georgia. Kevin is serving our country in Iraq at
present. I could not be more proud of anyone; it’s such an honor to have
him as a part of our family.
That’s
about it, I have a fantastic husband who supports me and this crazy profession
I have chosen, a wonderful family and live in the most beautiful place in America,
it doesn’t get any better…well, maybe if you would choose me as your
realtor it would help get me that new couch I’ve been eyeing…

Little About Me, Candy
After
Barbara wrote her intro she said “okay, now you need to write yours”.
I’m the quiet one of the team, I spend a lot of time smiling and nodding
my head while she talks, not that I don’t have a sense of humor, mine is
just a little less flamboyant. The beauty of working with a team is that you can
have two different personalities and double the knowledge. I’m the detail
paperwork queen.
My
name is Candy Turnbull, I live in Nixa, Missouri with my husband Ian. I am a cat
lover; I have beautiful kitties, Bentley and Chelsea. I have been in the customers
service field all of my life. I believe in doing what ever it takes to get the
job done right. The biggest concern I have when working with a real estate transaction
is making sure all parties are treated ethically and everyone feels as though
they are in a win win situation. I love the real estate profession and am continuously
searching for more education. I think our mission statement and values say it
all. I look forward to meeting each of you and helping to make your dreams came
true.
